Cette carte ne se joue pas du tout en hauteur, ce qui limite un peu son intérêt. A un moment du jeu je suis repassé rouge histoire de ré-équilibrer les équipes. Sur quelques rares serveurs, l'admin lance parfois une commande qui ré-équilibre automatiquement les équipes en fonction des performances des joueurs (Message "autobalancing teams"). C'est désagréable qu'on vous change d'équipe de force en cours de match, mais c'est mieux pour le jeu. J'ai tendance à me déplacer trop vite sans regarder (bang bang, j'suis mort). Par contre je m'habitue bien au LR-300: Ce fusil n'a pas de lunette, mais avec un peu d'entraînement on arrive à faire mouche même à bonne distance si on tire par courtes rafales ou au coup par coup. Et le LR300 fait plus de dégâts que le G36. L'AK est encore plus puissant que le LR300, mais le recule de l'arme est atroce et on perd énormément en précision. C'était un match sur le serveur de "Fun et Vitriol", un serveur français très sympa. Les joueurs sont globalement de mon niveau (avec certains meilleurs que moi).

I decided to take a trip to Westbury for some general spotting, then onto Castle Cary to catch the beast in action. Unfortunately not everything went according to plan. Something happened somewhere between Thingley Jn and Bristol, forcing some HST servces to be diverted via Melksham and Westbury, for onward working to Taunton. This caused D1015 to be late by about 19 minutes at Castle Cary. Also, something on D1015 'popped' and the brakes were applied pronto! Don't know exactly what happened, but the engines went off, and she came to an abrupt halt at the road bridge, just west of Castle Cary station. All in all however, a good few hours. Enjoy!

A fantastic day at Cholsey Manor Farm, in good company with Jord37425, who I finally had the chance to meet! We had a superb time, some terrific horns were blasted and the banter was brilliant. 06/08/11. On a muggy, grey, cold saturday, I find myself once again at Ladbrook Lane, awaiting the 1Z87 special to Minehead. I capture WCRCs 47826 leading on this leg of the trip, closely tailed by thier own 47804. Later in the day, the sun made a welcome appearance, still very blowy and cold, but sunny none the less. This is when I change locations to Thingley Junction, the ex-rail depot/yard, now disused apart from the odd Network Rail/DBS freight train needing to use it to run round or for storage. I stand facing Bath and capture a Rabbit/Hare minding his/her own business in the grassy field. Shortly after that capture, an auidable rumble and turbo scream were noticeable, and sure enough, there's 47804 & 47826 working 1Z88 (on my namesake!) back to Norwich. A good day's capture all in all I think.

37670 Arrives and Departs Welshpool (28/07/09) on the 6w97 Thingley to Harlech Engineers Train. This was due in at 20:20 ish but its seen here arriving at 23:24, 184 minutes late due to troubles on the WCML.I saw this loco a few weeks back on the cambrian (checkout the vid) where she was looking a bit rough in EWS fadded Livery. Now shes had a new paint job in DBS Livery she looks as good as she sounds!
