The first UFO is located 40 miles east of the Plutarch crater. The UFO is clearly visible on the moon surface, reflecting sunlight, very bright compared to the surrounding terrain / craters and enormous in size: at least 30 miles long, 10 miles wide and 1 mile high! If there's an accident during a Grand Prix, there can be debris left on the track or a car can stop in a dangerous position. If this happens, then the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Safety Car and its driver, Bernd Maylander, come to the fore. The Safety Car was first used in a race in 1973, and since 1996 it has been a Mercedes-Benz product. Mercedes-Benz announced on Sunday that its 2012 C63 AMG coupe would arrive in dealer showrooms in September, on the same timeline as the revised C63 AMG sedan. The coupe will be shown at the New York auto show next month. Not surprisingly, the same AMG Development Package available for the sedan appears in the coupe as well, which borrows parts from the more upmarket SLS AMG. The package increases the 6.2-liter V-8's output from 451 to 481 horsepower and can reportedly propel the coupe to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds. Tools to manage all those ponies include an AMG sport suspension and high-performance brakes. Also carried over from the sedan is the 7-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission. Its controlled-efficiency mode reportedly helps reduce fuel consumption, while a number of performance modes help with speedy shifts. Visually, the AMG coupe distinguishes itself from the standard model with a number of dress-up items. The brand's three-pointed star sits prominently on a single crossbar, whereas the base coupe's insignia nests between two bars. There were two versions of the theme during the run of the show, one for the first season and another for the second and third. In the original theme song, the Professor and Mary Ann were referred to as "and the rest". Actors Russell Johnson and Dawn Wells were originally considered "second-billed co-stars", but with the growing popularity of their characters, their names were inserted into the lyrics. Wells has stated that it was Denver who went to the studio executives to get them added to the opening credits. The studio originally refused, stating that it would cost too much to re-shoot and re-score the opening. In 1969 Weather Underground founders Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn (who were to become Pres. Obama's personal friends and associates for many years) put Charles Manson on the cover of their occasional newspaper, "Fire". At what was billed as a "War Council" in Flint Michigan that same year, Ayers and his comrades took to greeting eachother with "the fork" - three fingers pointed upwards, in honor of Manson. (Google Dorhn's Flint conference quote on Manson - and Sharon Tate, who was 8 1/2 months pregnant at the time.) In 1972 Ayers dedicated the WU's manifesto, "Prairie Fire", to his cultural and political heroes -- a list which included Sen. Robert Kennedy's assassin, Sirhan Sirhan. Throughout their career as terrorist bombers, Ayers and Dorhn were constantly trying to break the Left free of its "bourgeois" commitment to non-violence. In fact, they frequently used that word, bourgeois, to mock any WU members who hesitated to accept Ayer's increasingly deadly commitment to violence. By adopting Charles Manson as their own, by praising Manson as a hero of the counterculture, they hoped to smash the Left's "bourgeois" ties to civilization and thus spark similar acts of horrific "revolutionary" violence. I explain in this tutorial how to create the Transforming, aka 8-pointed Paper Ninja Star or Shuriken. It is a type of Modular Origami Model in which we will interlock or join 8 smaller Modular Units (pieces) to get a larger one. All that is required is 8 small square sheets of paper. I am using 9cm x 9cm dimension paper I found in staples, but any Post-It notes should work fine. Smaller origami paper should work well also. If you want to use printer paper, that is fine (but you will wind up wasting a bit). Just make the printer paper into a square, like I do in my other origami tutorials. Then split that square into 4 pieces (fold in half both ways and cut/tear). Either that or you can use each sheet of converted printer paper as a modular unit and make a LARGE transforming ninja star!
