This is quite a simple process and one that will save you money I went to my local electronics repair shop and asked for a quote and they said £60 to un-seize it and £80 to replace it thats before parts, thats just labor !!!!!!! When you screw the adjusting ring back on (the bit you turn to heighten or lower the tone-arm) once you have screwed it all the way on you have to turn it back on its self (loosen it again) until it hits 0, but if you have to turn it to far back EG more than half a turn the threads may not be lined up right and you may have to take it off again to realign the threads again. This came from Simcoe County , Toronto, Canada. It is a Federal Model 7 dual tone 240Volt single phase. On this test, it is being powered by a 110volt power supply. (I do not have 240 volt power at home). The siren usually has a higher tone but since it is being powered by half the voltage, it sound lower and starts off slower than it should be. Now for round 4, and a taste of the dark side of this amp. This is my personal tone, and the one that I use to record all of my own material, but I'll use some familiar tunes for the demo. Keep in mind, I don't even have the gain at 3/4ths of the way up, so there is still an insane amount of gain left, way more than I care for. The guitar has now gone from standard tuning, like my three other videos, to drop D. A 33 minute speedpainting thats been sped up to meet youtube's 10 minute maximum requirement. Done from a photo. Post critiques by myself: I didn't push the flesh tones range to orange enough, I mostly stayed too much in the red-tones. Side-by-side comparisons show I had proportion problems with the lower body, likely because I had placed the head too high up on the image so I ended up stretching the lower half to meet the bottom edge. Some thoughts after doing this, I ought to extend my working time to finish one area of the sketch and bring focus to the painting. I should try using a soft picture frame instead of using the image's dimensions as a working space (easier to adapt to noticeable problems). Lastly, I need to work with a broader understanding of color areas, I felt like I was targeting some areas with too small a brush size. Done in Photoshop CS2 with a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet.

Several people have asked about the Giannini Craviola and what it sounds like, so I thought I'd put up a video. The guitar was made in the late 70's by the Giannini company in Brazil and is of course a very unique design. It's upper half resembles a lute and it's lower half... well, I'm not sure what you'd call it! But it sits nicely in your lap with a good balance from head to toe. As for sound, as you can hear for yourself, it does have a nice full and warm "nylon string" tone. The song is Anitra's Dance, from Grieg's Peer Gynt suites (Suite 1). An old favorite from back in the days when I would occasionally dabble in classical music. In order to capture the sound of the instrument accurately, I recorded this with some high quality studio mics (you can see one of them in the corner of the video) so this is not just the camera's built in mics. In fact, there's 2 separate condenser mics blended with the camera's built in stereo mic system. To my ears, this setup accurately captured the true sound of the Craviola. I hope you enjoy it!

Here is my arrangement of Moanin'. Moanin' was originally recorded by Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers in 1958. Chorus 1: The melody. The song is built on this format: A (8 bars) A (8 bars) B (8 bars) A (8 bars) Chorus 2: Solo. A - Emphasize the 6th. One non-tonal slide from the upper to the lower manual, a number of grace notes, a few keyboard 'thumps' on the lower manual. A - Solo one octave lower, a few thumps on the lower manual. A number of grace notes. This part ends with a 'machine gun' tremolo. B - Upwards palm glissando. Two-note tremolo. Down and upwards palm glissando. Pedal tone with the thumb under a chorded figure. Then a chorded triplet riff. A one octave thumb upwards thumb glissando followed by a pedal tone phrase, another short upwards thumb glissando and yet another pedal tone phrase. This video is going to show you how to draw Megan Fox. It doesn't matter what your experience level is at drawing. All you have to do is follow the step by step instructions in this video. Turn the rainbow shape in to an egg shape. Notice that the bottom part of the egg shape is bigger than the top. Add the two ellipses below the wavy line. Notice that the two elipses are slightly different from each other. The one on your right is more circular and the one on the left is more oval like. Step 3.) Step 3 is the tricky step. Take some extra time to observe before you draw. Notice the placement and shape of the squiggly line for the nose. It is slightly lower than the half way point of the egg shape for the head. It is not as wide as the flattened M shape for the top lip. When you draw the top lip, be sure to observe that it is closer to the nose, than the chin. Step 4.) Add the bottom lip and the space between the lips. Notice that I put a darker line below where the teeth will go. The bottom lip is similar to the width of the two shapes above it. Step 5.) Just breathe! While this step looks difficult it is not urgent to perfectly get the shape of the hair. Here is my composition Venus Rolling Rock. The theme and the bass line are in minor, but every time I go from F minor to Bb minor, or to C minor, I throw in a short major scale note with the right hand (I slide down from G# to A) to create a little bit of tension in the minor mood :-) I'm using both manuals for short percussive keyboard 'thumps'. I'm using long pedal notes when playing the lower manual and the reason is that the organ registration I choose to go with the block chords sounds a bit "thin" for single note soloing. So I use those pedal tones to beef up the sound a bit. For variation I choose to play one chorus with the pedal tone lower than the soloing, and the next chorus with the pedal tone higher than the solo. ---------- Theorgan is a Clavia Nord C1 - a Hammond B-3 clonewheel organ. ---------- Nord C1 Registrations and Settings: Upper 88 8000 000. No Chorus. No Percussion. Lower 60 6000 468. No Chorus. Bass lower man. 80. Leslie simulator alternating between Slow and Fast position. Equalizer not used. Overdrive not used.
