This video shows a Torrance Police Officer blocking me as I repeatedly look over my shoulder trying to make a left turn. Once he gets out of my way, and allows me to make my left turn, he follows me outside of his jurisdiction...the officers circle around, we cross paths again, where I politely greet them. From there they quickly flip their car around as if they are in hot pursuit. They do not activate any lights to indicate they are stopping anybody, nor do they indicate I should stop. Instead they jump out of their vehicle and chase me on foot, only I am not running. I am at my destination, and that is the only thing that prevents these POS unethical officers from conducting an illegal search, as they have done repeatedly since October of last year. If they had caught up to me before I reached the gate, it would be a completely different story. Believe it, my girlfriend and her teenage nephew were stopped in this exact spot. My father watched from his driveway with my nephew, as my girlfriend was sexually assaulted, and falsely cited by officer Rey Lara, and what appeared to be a trainee named Craft, as I mentioned, outside of TPD's jurisdiction. Torrance under cover officers were watching this brown suburban, with the plan to conduct a traffic stop once the driver got back into it. Sure enough, the driver did get back into it, and a felony traffic stop they did conduct.(sorry, no footage of the action) I pedaled to take a look and a picture of the scene. Of particular interest seemed to be the large brown paper grocery bag on the trunk of the police car. Your guess is as good as mine as to what might have been inside of it. Maybe some type of contraband? Now that it has fallen into the hands of the Torrance Police...(hopefully our streets will start being a place where there is mutual respect, and integrity...)*attacks deleted by creator* If this car was stolen, I dont see a problem with this stop. If it was not stolen, rather then waiting to conduct a traffic stop, shouldnt a warrant have been obtained? If there was an obvious violation such as a tag, tail light, that might not justify a search, especially with a department that has a history of conducting illegal searches. Hopefully the police reports report the truth. This driver may have been a felon, I dont know. I am not a criminal, and I dont appreciate the Torrance Police Department making illegal stops of myself or other lawful citizens, based on false allegations, so they can waste their time and mine, searching for contraband I do not posess. If this was a lawful police stop, conducted in a proper manner in compliance with the law, then I thank the <b>...</b>

Officer Gribben 17763 This cop is guilty of perjury, not fit to testify in any case. Torrance officers lie to harass lawful people who are conducting normal daily activities. A lawful cyclist is the example in this video. In Torrance, cyclists are subjected to illegal stops and arbitrary searches daily. I have obtained records that show several thousand illegal searches of cyclists over the last few years. This police officer in this video is aware that I am recording him, yet he continues his illegal behavior, even escalating it. He doesnt hide the fact that he is falsely citing the cyclist, instead he blames his actions on me, because I am recording him. That is irrational. It is not a crime to record an officer. It is the ethical thing to do when an officer is breaking the law. The only other option I am aware of to stop an officer who is breaking the law involves force and or violence. Filing a complaint with the department is futile, sort of like talking to a dog tird on your lawn, without the nutrients to help the grass grow.. In any event, this unethical officer was already making the illegal stop, for the purpose of conducting an illegal search, before he was aware that I was following him, and recording him. He would have falsely cited you me, or anybody who doesnt like to be harassed and says so. The proof, this video. He just did exactly that. His department will back this up. They waste the time and money of innocent people, because they cant figure out <b>...</b>

In order to use a quality external microphone with the line input on this recorder, you need to use a mixer and on a portable recorder like this it becomes very bulky. Zoom missed the boat by not incorporating video into the H4n platform. It would have been a total winner if it had. ZOOM, PAY ATTENTION and get it right on the third time around.
