Bolton goalkeeper Adam Bogdan was in fine form denying the hosts several times, before Nelsen headed the opener. Shortly after, Bale doubled their lead finishing off a fine Spurs break before Kevin Davies gave the visitors hope after converting Ivan Klasnic's cross. But Saha sealed the win in injury time with a turn and shot from 20 yards. The rearranged game marked an emotional return to White Hart Lane for Bolton's players after the original fixture was abandoned when midfielder Fabrice Muamba collapsed , suffering a cardiac arrest during the first half. Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp admitted that sentiment would go out of the window when the game kicked off, and his side were true to their word in a one-sided first half. They ended the half with 11 attempts on goal, eight of which were on target, while Bolton failed to muster a single chance. But despite their dominance the game remained goalless at the break, thanks largely to Bolton keeper Bogdan - who was in superb form. He was called into action on numerous occasions, with his low full-stretch save from Scott Parker's close-range effort the pick of the bunch ...

The scoreline reflects an emphatic win for Roberto di Matteo's side as they received the perfect lift before Wednesday's Champions League semi-final first leg against Barcelona at Stamford Bridge. Spurs, however, were left complaining bitterly that they were the victims of an injustice that swung the destiny of this all-London confrontation decisively in Chelsea's favour when referee Martin Atkinson made a crucial intervention just after the interval. Chelsea were leading through Didier Drogba's goal when Ledley King and Benoit Assou-Ekotto blocked Juan Mata's shot in a chaotic goalmouth scramble. The ball did not appear to cross the line, a view supported by television replays as Blues captain John Terry also joined the melee, but referee Atkinson awarded the goal - to the obvious anger of Spurs and their management team. Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Stevenage - Official goals and highlights | FA Cup Fifth Round Proper 7/2/12

Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Stevenage The FA Cup with Budweiser Fifth Round Proper 7.30pm, Wednesday 7 February 2012 White Hart Lane, Tottenham Hotspur FC Live on ESPN Live fee of £106000 per club Winning clubs receive £180000 from The FA's prize fund A brace from Jermain Defoe and a penalty from Emmanuel Adebayor proved to be enough for Tottenham Hotspur to progress to The FA Cup with Budweiser quarter-finals, but not before they suffered a scare against a brave Stevenage side. Tottenham welcomed Gareth Bale, Rafael van der Vaart and Scott Parker back into the side as Harry Redknapp's men looked to prevent a third straight defeat and a Cup giant-killing against their League Two opponents, but their night got off to a nightmare start. Cheered on by a large vocal support, Stevenage went on the attack early and found themselves in dreamland two minutes in when they were awarded a penalty after Ryan Nelson's sliding challenge on Chris Beardsley. The striker picked himself up to send Spurs goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini the wrong way and White Hart Lane into disbelief. Things got worse for Tottenham before five minutes were up as captain Michael Dawson was stretchered off the pitch after landing awkwardly when challenging Beardsley for a header. Scott Parker took over as skipper as Kyle Walker entered the fray to replace the injured Dawson. Spurs looked shell-shocked and the quick, attacking play many have become accustomed to seeing this season failed to develop as the Stevenage ...

All Tottenham Hotspur Goals 2010-11

Every Spurs goal in a competitive game from the 2010-11 season, in chronological order. There were 84 in total - maybe not quite as many as we would've liked in the league and domestic cups, but lack of quantity is more than made up for in quality - roughly every 1 in 3 is a bona fide screamer. The season was still one of the best in memory, and gave us plenty of memorable moments to enjoy. Hopefully this video will serve as a reminder! Comment on your favourite goal! Here's the breakdown of scorers: Rafael Van der Vaart - 15 Roman Pavlyuchenko - 14 Gareth Bale - 11 Peter Crouch - 11 Jermain Defoe - 9 Luka Modric - 4 Aaron Lennon - 3 Own Goals - 3 Niko Kranjcar - 2 Tom Huddlestone - 2 Younes Kaboul - 2 Alan Hutton - 2 Sebastien Bassong - 2 Sandro - 1 Michael Dawson - 1 Andros Townsend - 1 Robbie Keane - 1 Again, all rights belong to the respective broadcasters/artists; I don't claim to own any of the content, audio or video.

Tottenham Hotspur - Magnificent Season /HD/

After suffering two big defeats in the first two games against both Manchester clubs, Tottenham picked them self up and got back to the winning ways. They finished the season in fourth place. Van der Vaart on his Tottenham career and England vs Holland

The Tottenham playmaker reflects on a classic encounter in 2009 between England and Holland in which 4 goals were scored, Defoe emerging from the bench to rescue the game for England from the brink of defeat. The Spurs star also reflects on playing for an exciting Tottenham team this year. ---- Jermain Defoe struck twice as England came from two goals down at the interval against the Netherlands to earn a creditable draw in Amsterdam. Dirk Kuyt and Rafael Van der Vaart punished errors by Rio Ferdinand and Gareth Barry to give the Dutch control. But Defoe came off the bench to race clear and pull a goal back after 49 minutes to give England hope. And he steered in a cross from fellow substitute James Milner with 13 minutes left as England finished strongly. England coach Fabio Capello will have mixed feelings about the performance of his side - and will demand the basic errors that cost two goals be eradicated as the build up continues towards what he hopes will be a serious World Cup challenge in South Africa next summer. But he will be delighted by the spirit shown as England fought their way back into contention with Defoe as the spearhead, helped by impressive cameos from two other substitutes in Carlton Cole and Milner. England's hopes of a morale-boosting result were undermined by a dreadful error from Ferdinand that gifted the Dutch an early goal. Ferdinand's attempted backpass was desperately casual and fell well short of Robert Green, allowing Kuyt to round the ...

Tottenham Court Road Underground (Tube) station, London

This is a fairly typical London Underground (Tube) station in March of 2011. We got off the train and made our way to the exit. Every tube station has a different visual theme. This one had tile mosaics. Other ones have old posters in wood-cut style. Others are ultra-modern. Escalators are everywhere - only Hong Kong seems to have longer ones. Every so often you would hear an announcement that there is (dreaded) Engineering Work somewhere in the system. But sometimes they just announce that there is "good service" throughout the London Underground system.

Stevenage 0-0 Tottenham - Official Highlights | FA Cup 5th Round 19-02-12

Stevenage held Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur to a draw to earn a lucrative FA Cup fifth round replay at White Hart Lane. The League One side showed commendable spirit, resilience and a prodigious work ethic as Spurs were never allowed to demonstrate the style that has become their trademark under manager Harry Redknapp this season. Spurs came closest to snatching victory only for Louis Saha's second-half shot to strike Scott Parker on the goalline and be ruled out for offside. It would have been harsh on Stevenage to lose in such a manner as Gary Smith's side made Spurs work for everything in front of a highly-charged home gallery at The Lamex Stadium. Michael Dawson also came close for Spurs when his header was cleared off the line by Michael Bostwick in the first half, while Stevenage's best effort was a rising long-range effort from Joel Byrom that was narrowly off target with keeper Carlo Cudicini scrambling. As referee Phil Dowd sounded the final whistle, the Stevenage fans rightly celebrated their side's performance and the two sides must now meet again to to confirm a home tie with Bolton in the last eight. Spurs boss Harry Redknapp fielded a strong side, but the rhythm and fluent attacking football that has characterised their rise to title outsiders was rarely in evidence as Stevenage fought tigerishly for possession. Redknapp may not have wanted the intrusion of a replay into the Spurs calendar, lthough they will now be even stronger favourites to take ...

Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 Cheltenham Town- Official Highlights | FA Cup 3rd Round Proper 07-01-12

Tottenham advanced into round four of the FA Cup after a comfortable victory at White Hart in their first competitive match against Cheltenham. Jermain Defoe put Spurs ahead midway through the first half, sliding in on the goal-line after Giovani dos Santos chipped goalkeeper Scott Brown. Roman Pavlyuchenko made it two shortly before the break, stroking in from six yards after a slick one-touch move. Cheltenham showed plenty of spirit but Giovani lifted in a late third. It was a comfortable afternoon for Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, who made 10 changes to the team that beat West Brom in midweek. A capacity crowd saw Michael Dawson back as captain, returning to the starting line-up for the first time since a 5-1 home defeat by Manchester City in August. There was little chance of a repeat of that scoreline but, roared on throughout by the 5000 travelling fans packing out their allocation at the Park Lane end, the Robins, second in League Two, made a confident start as Kaid Mohamed raced clear in the opening moments and forced Carlo Cudicini into a low save. Spurs employed widemen Niko Kranjcar and Steven Pienaar in unusual central midfield roles and midfielder Jake Livermore at right-back but soon found their customary passing touch, Giovani and Aaron Lennon causing numerous problems to the Cheltenham defence with their pace and trickery. Pavlyuchenko jinked away from the the defenders and curled a shot on to the roof of the net but Cheltenham kept their shape admirably and ...

Stevenage v Tottenham - Harry Redknapp full press conference | FA Cup 2012

Harry Redknapp says FA have not been in contact Harry Redknapp said he has not been approached by the Football Association about the England manager's job. The FA began the process of finding a successor to Fabio Capello last week with the Tottenham boss, 64, favourite with bookmakers to take the role. "I've not spoken to anybody - I'm not going to rule myself out but I've not been ruled in either," Redknapp said ahead of the FA Cup tie at Stevenage. "I've just been thinking about Stevenage all week." Redknapp confirmed that the England position vacated by Capello on 8 February, could not be done on a part-time basis in the long term. "[I an interview with Abu Dhabi Sports] I was asked if could someone could do it just for Euros," Redknapp continued. "In the long term it couldn't be done part-time, it would have be done full-time. You couldn't run any club in any country in the world and do that job as well." Redknapp's club side are currently enjoying one of their most successful seasons in recent years, with seven points separating themselves in third with leaders Manchester City and a 10-point gap to fourth-placed Arsenal. "My focus is on trying to get Tottenham as high up the table as I can," he added. "We want a Champions League spot and we also have a chance in the FA Cup." The Premier League season finishes on 13 May when Spurs play Fulham at White Hart Lane. England have friendlies against Norway in Oslo on 26 May and Belgium at Wembley on 2 June. Van der Vaart goal and Official Highlights -Watford 0-1 Tottenham | FA Cup 4th Round Proper 27-01-12

Rafael van der Vaart's long-range strike ensured a happy end to the week for Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp. Van der Vaart beat Scott Loach with a dipping 25-yard shot, but Spurs had to survive a second-half onslaught to reach the FA Cup fifth round. Spurs' preparations were disrupted by Redknapp's ongoing tax evasion trial. Although Van der Vaart also hit the crossbar, Watford struck the woodwork twice in a dominant second-half showing and were unlucky not to force a replay. Spurs, who last won the FA Cup in 1991, rested Gareth Bale, Ledley King and Aaron Lennon but still named a strong side which produced arguably their worst display of the season. Watford responded marvellously to recover from Van der Vaart's opener against the run of play, and teenager Sean Murray and captain John Eustace struck the same post after the break. The hosts worked hard from the off to deny Luka Modric and Rafael van der Vaart space and time and, for all Spurs' possession, their first shot on goal did not arrive until the half-hour mark. Watford, on the other hand, twice threatened in the opening exchanges as midfielder Murray saw his low drive parried by Carlo Cudicini before Prince Buaben hit a swerving shot narrowly wide from 25 yards. The home side's bold line-up saw forward Troy Deeney causing Danny Rose no end of problems on the Tottenham left, and his cross led to Joe Garner miscuing a clear chance in front of Cudicini. Spurs were still struggling to make headway in the final third ...

Harry on 4th place - Tottenham v Swansea | Premier League 2012

Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon is fit again after four matches out with a hamstring injury. Defender Ledley King played the full 90 minutes of the midweek FA Cup quarter-final win over Bolton so may be rested. Swansea will be without on-loan defender Steven Caulker, who is ineligible to play against his parent club. Garry Monk could deputise. Winger Nathan Dyer is available after suspension but must dislodge Wayne Routledge from the starting line-up. MATCH PREVIEW Tottenham's Champions League rivals are all in action before them this weekend - but however those teams fare, Spurs need to get back to winning ways against Swansea or their task of reclaiming third spot will become much harder. Harry Redknapp's side have had a series of in-and-out results - they didn't win in the Premier League in March but did get a point at Chelsea last weekend and booked their place in the FA Cup semi-finals in midweek. Tottenham will be sweating on the fitness of Aaron Lennon - the winger has started just four of the last 15 matches - and Spurs have missed him. A team hosting Swansea earlier this season would have felt the Welsh side were there for the taking. But since getting their first-ever Premier League away win in January, Brendan Rodgers' side have not looked back, and will come to White Hart Lane without any fear, having won three of the last four on their travels. With 39 points, I reckon Swansea are safe so it could be argued that there is not as much at stake for them as there ...
