For those of you who like the second generation Trans Ams or just want a piece of classic American automotive muscle, here's a fantastic 1973 Pontiac Trans Am that's in excellent condition. Featuring the numbers matching 455ci V8 that's mounted to the original automatic transmission, this beauty shows 96877 miles on the odometer and is classic American iron at its best. This '73 Trans Am is also well documented with window sticker and a PHS sheet to show all of its options when purchased new. How many '73 Trans Ams can you find with this much original paperwork? Not many! This baby is a true southern car and still retains all of its original sheet metal. Always a rust free car, the floor pans and trunk are also in great shape. Lifting the hood reveals the original 455ci V8 that starts up and idles beautifully every time. Numbers match from the carb down to the original automatic transmission. Dual exhaust with chrome tips that exit out under the rear bumper, give this piece of muscle an awesome, aggressive sound that is sure to turn heads with every stomp of the accelerator pedal. Power steering, power disc brakes, Safe-T-Trac rear differential, and the factory installed handling package which consists of the larger 15" rally (Honeycomb) wheels which are wrapped in near new radial tires and stiffer front and rear shocks. After a year of beating on the stock block after all the mods, and approaching 98k miles, the LS1 block finally started having excessing blow-by in the cylinders and also blowing oil into the upper crankcase housing. It ran strong, producing idle launch 1/4 times of 12.4 @ 118MPH. But....IT'S TIME TO GO BIG!! Updates on the way...
