Betrayer is a Metal band from Jakarta, Indonesia, who stood around 1991. Betrayer, the name taken from one of the title track owned trash metal group out, is Kreator. Initial form, Betrayer music's is influenced by many bands a similar kind of music like Kreator, Suffocation, Deicide, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, and Pantera. this band famous in the indonesia's music industry in commercial with hit single with "Bendera Kuning" which is a compilation of songs in the album of indonesia's underground bands, namely "Metalik Klinik" (1). this band back after break the silence of the "shouting" metal band after six years standing, some time apart and 4 pairs of the full album, Betrayer finally released the album "Best of The Betrayer" still under the label Pops/Aquarius Musikindo after their absent for three years. Betrayer rupanya tak kenal lelah untuk meramaikan blantika musik Indonesia. Pertengahan Januari 2008 mendatang, band cadas yang mengusung aliran trash metal ini akan meluncurkan album keenam yang bertajuk REVOLUSI. Album ini akan diedarkan dalam format CD oleh POPS MUSIK /AQUARIUS MUSIKINDO. Salah satu band metal Indonesia yang punya album terbanyak, ya, Betrayer, ujar Dodo Abdullah dari POPS. Setelah memperkenalkan drummer baru, Endro di album sebelumnya, The Best of Betrayer, kehadiran vokalis baru, Tatu, turut memberikan warna baru di album teranyar Betrayer ini.
