Traxxas 1/16 E-Revo VXL on an off-road track
This is the new Traxxas E-Revo VXL brushless monster truck. It is box stock in this video. The first segment is using the included 7.2 volt Traxxas NiMH battery - I am filming while some friends drive it. It was the first time driving this RC for each of them, to give you an idea of how this handles. The second segment is with a Zippy 3s 11.1 volt 1300mAh battery - I am driving. This was my third time driving this E-Revo. With the stock tires, it works surprisingly well. It drives almost exactly like the full-size version and is a TON of fun on the track. With the 3s lipo it really has too much power for racing, 6 cell NiMH or 2 cell LiPo would be perfect.

Traxxas 1/16 E REVO VXL brushless RTR
I tried the truck out on some dirt and was happy with handling characteristics. The suspension soaked up most of the bumps except for the big ruts and 40-50mph speeds. I was surprised at how well the revo stays on it's feet while traveling at extremely fast speeds. Traxxas Slash 1/10th 2wd off road electric radio control truck
Running the Slash off road is the most fun of all, and you'll soon realize it requires all your attention to keep it under control. The suspension is soft and reacts much like a real short course truck. The body will pitch around as you negotiate the track and squat the rear fender to the outside when you turn. I also like how it dives when you apply the brakes and squats the rear end when you accelerate, it just looks so real! I've read a few reports about how people said the Slash couldn't jump, and that statement is just not true! The Slash will sail through the air and land on all fours very well. I found it was able to take big table top jumps as well. And for those of you that will argue that it doesn't jump like your truggy, well it's not supposed to. These short course trucks can't compete with purpose-built race platforms, but they can offer the same level of excitement at less than half the cost. This is an original Traxxas Tmaxx 2.5 that has been upgraded to the Big Bore Shocks, the 3.3 Traxxas Nitro engine and resinator pipe.
