The annual Doha Tribeca Film Festival has launched its second edition in Qatar's capital. The Qatari version of the renowned New York-based event showcases movies with Middle Eastern themes, including the Algerian struggle for independence and the fight for a Palestinian homeland. Badal is on the faculty of New York University Tisch School of the Arts Department of Film & Television teaching Film Distribution & Marketing, Producing Essentials, Senior Colloquium and team-teaches The Business of Producing at the Stern School of Business.
