Szentimrei Réti István az IKS 6 danos mestere, az International Karate Shobukai Do First Shihanja, Sadaharu Fujimoto (8.dan) tanítványa, a magyarországi Wado Ryu honosítója, a Ré Zen-Do alapítója Köveskálon az általa alapított Zen-Do Kolostorban lehetővé tette és segíti a tanítványok uchi-deshi rendszerű gyakorlását. 2011 augusztusában egy szűkkörű, stílusfüggetlen csoport gyakorolt a kolostorban Paál Géza (1 dan Zen-Do, 1 dan IKS, 6 kyu Ju-Jitsu) senpai irányításával. Ebbe ad betekintést ez a kis összefoglaló. A gyakorláson Zen-Do tanítványok és shihan Kluka József (5 dan Ju-Jitsu Kelemen Ryu; 4 dan ZenDo; 4 dan IKS) tanítványai vettek részt. "Keresd meg Mestered, találd meg Önmagad, és Te leszel a Mester..." "ZEN-DO LOVAG! CSAK ARRA KÉRLEK TÉGED, MARADJON A SZELLEMED NYITOTT." A tanítást magad kezded, a mestered folytatja, ezért ez pénzedbe nem, csak véredbe, verejtékedbe kerül. Az összeállítás Paál Gabriella (1 kyu) készítette.

Judd Reid has been invited to attempt the 100 Man Kumite to be held at the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium on October 22nd, 2011. Judd is the World Kumite Organization Heavyweight Champion and the first foreigner to have completed the 1000 day live in student uchi deshi program in Japan under Kyokushin Karate founder Sosai Masutatsu Oyama. This is a trailer for a documentary being made about Judd's dedication to life as a martial artist and his attempt to complete this incredible challenge.

Budo - The Art of Killing - Gozo Shioda Demonstration
Shioda was a student of judo while young, and after being easily thrown by Morihei Ueshiba after a demonstration, became his student in 1932. He also studied aikijujutsu. He has become known as one of the most "fiery" or "vigorous" people of aikido history. In 1961 he was awarded a 9th dan rank by Ueshiba and in 1985 he received 10th dan and the title Sōke from the International Budo Federation. Early years as an uchi deshi His father was a keen judo practitioner who had his own dojo called the Yoshinkan as well. Shioda junior was a black belt in judo by the time he entered high-school. He attended Takushoku University but curtailed his studies in order to train as a full-time uchi-deshi at Morihei Ueshiba's Kobukan dojo (the site of the Kobukan is now occupied by the Aikikai Hombu Dojo). This was the first official dojo of what later became aikido. At that time it was called aiki budo. In those days, aiki budo was still a very hard martial art and training at the Kobukan was intense. It was this kind of training that Shioda loved and strove to preserve when he later founded the Yoshinkan. On occasion he and other uchi deshi went out at night in Tokyo and picked fights with gangs in order to test out their skills, despite being forbidden to do so by Ueshiba.[citation needed] In one incident, Shioda and a fellow deshi got into a fight with a gang of about 30 yakuza. Yoshimitsu Yamada, a direct student of O Sensei for more than ten years, is an 8th dan and the chief instructor at the New York Aikikai. Currently, he is Chairman of the Board of the United States Aikido Federation and the Latin America Aikido Federation. He is the author of Aikido Complete and has made multiple aikido training tapes. Yamada Sensei is well known for his clear and strong basic technique. He teaches seminars all over the world where thousands of students attend his classes.
