Ultima Underworld - Gameplay

This is me (guess what) playing Ultima Underworld with Dosbox 0.70. This game (1992) came out before Wolfenstein 3D, it has physics, you can jump, fall down (looking up and down too, but didnt find the buttons, lol), swim (i wanted to show that, but it would have been a waste of time), a eat/sleep system and everything else im trying to show here. I had to present the game in under 10 minutes so its a little "run through". I myself played this game to the 6th or 7th dungeon, but some bug appeared and i lost all my inventory, which really pissed me off. If you want to see the Intro, just search for it on Youtube. Im going to upload more old dos game videos.
Ultima Can-Am engine start up - revving - accelerating!!

Jorrik record's a very rare Ultima Can-Am with 600hp and it weights only 1000kg, so it goes from 0 to 100km/h in just 2,7 seconds!! These 6 cars a from the Dutch Spring Run 2009 from the website pistonheads.com. They were with 22 cars, but these cars were the last 6.. Unfortunately I missed the best part, the Monaro VXR, Ultima and the Skyline were revving very loud, as you can see in the vid, I only recorded the last part of it... Make sure you watch on HQ and don't forget to rate and comment! Thanks for watching! Jorrik :)

ORIGIN Systems - Ultima I - First Age of Darkness (Gameplay)

Whew, Ultima 1 has the distinct honor of being the first game I had ever played in my life. It was simple enough for a little kid to get, and fun enough to hold my attention long enough to get to the meatier sequels and begin my obsession with story based RPGs. The original Ultima 1 didn't have much of a story, you just did some quests for some random kings, but it certainly had the charm and it was one of the first. Not only that, but it's still easy to play today. While it's incredibly simple by today's standards (which is unusual by most older games' tendency to be confusing with complex interfaces) it still maintains some of its old fun. Really, I most play it for nostalgia, and in this video you can see me entering dungeons, buying food, weaponry, armor and etc. equipping it then beating on some monsters. Ultima 1 used a semi-turn based system where you'd make a move and then the enemy would, as one would expect, but it operated in a weird real time manner which meant both you and the enemy would make their move at the same time. I don't think it was necessarily Richard Garriott not having advanced enough algorithms in order to make convincing turn-based combat, I think it was a relatively primitive form of real-time combat. Nonetheless, it's a classic, and deserves playing for the history alone, if not for the fact that it's just pure simple fun that goes back to the roots of RPGing.
Kyosho Ultima DB 1/8 Electric Desert Buggy

the Kyosho Ultima DB brings scale back to electric racing in the form of a modern off-road desert racing buggy. it's large 1/8-scale size comes from the Short Course platform of the Ultima SC, but it's not just the same truck with a new body. The Ultima DB features a very scale body with a rugged and functional roll cage. The cage attaches to the chassis at six points and withstands very strong impacts without body damage. The solid roof panel is and roll cage are made from a very durably molded composite that will endure much more punishment than an standard body. It also features a rear motor and transmission guard to protect against rear impacts. The Ultima DB comes completely factory assembled - even the body is trimmed, assembled and the decals are applied. You simply need to install a Ni-MH or Li-Po battery of your choice, attach the body, and you're ready to run. In spite of all it's user-friendliness, the Ultima DB is a current design that has the benefit of the World's most experienced RC racing engineers. The Ultima RB5 and RT5 are at the core of the Ultima DB, which means it not only looks great, it's shares the same DNA as the race-bred vehicles upon which its based. Sharing many of the same parts as the Ultima SC, the DB can use most of the replacement parts from the Ultima SC, and its relation with the RB5 and RT5 means that most of the optional high-performance parts are ready to be installed. The Ultima SC is already on its way to proving that it's the ...

UW is the first of only two first-person style games in the "Underworld" series (Arx Fatalis was slated to be Underworld III, but Arkane was unable to get a license for the name). UW was created by Blue Sky Productions and published by Origin Systems for DOS, PlayStation and Windows CE, among others in 1992. - The Story - The storyline takes place right after Ultima VI where the Avatar (you) in Britannia, witnesses the kidnapping of a baron's daughter by a wizard. He escapes, but you are caught by the guards and found guilty of the crime. Later you are thrown into the "Stygian Abyss" a failed elaborate colony built inside a volcano. You are told you must rescue the baron's daughter if you ever hope to escape. - The Video - This is speedrun completes my "Underworld" speedruns, and is considerably faster than my run for UW2 (by about 25 minutes). Again, I use some cool glitches and my route is extremely optimized. To my knowledge, this is the first and only existing recorded speedrun of this game.

Ultima Online Stones

Good memories from a good game. Ultima Online (UO) is a popular graphical massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), released on September 25, 1997, by Origin Systems. It was instrumental to the development of the genre, and is still running today. The game is played online, in a fantasy setting similar to that of the other Ultima games that preceded it. The success of Ultima Online opened the door for the creation of many new massively multiplayer games. Ultima Online is a fantasy role-playing game set in the Ultima universe. It is online-only and played by thousands of simultaneous users (who pay a monthly fee) on various game servers, also known as shards. It is known for its extensive timing-based player versus player combat system. Over a million paid accounts have been created in the game.[citation needed] To maintain order in the online community, there are Game Masters who resolve player disputes, police the shard for terms of service violations, and correct glitches in the game. Several expansions have been released, but its aging game engine and graphics make it outdated compared to competitive, new massively multiplayer games. This changed with the release of Ultima Online: Kingdom Reborn in 2007, which features a new game engine. Since Ultima Online's prime in 2003, the overall subscriber base has seen a steady decline. Subscriber numbers peaked at around 250000 in July of 2003, and to date sit around 135000 subscribers (approximately 70000 of ...

Part 2: www.youtube.com - The Game - Ultima Underworld II: Labyrinth of worlds is a first-person 3D RPG game set in the Ultima universe. UW2 is the sequel to Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss and was created by Looking Glass Technologies and published by Electronic Arts in 1993 - The Story - The storyline takes place between parts one and two of Ultima VII and as usual has you playing that part of the Avatar. One year after the Black Gate incident of Ultima VII, you are invited to a feast by Lord British to celebrate the year of rebuilding in Britannia. In the early morning afterwards, a great dome of blackrock crystal forms over the castle trapping everyone, including you, inside. The blackrock was created by Mayor Patterson for the Guardian who intends to invade Britannia, which has now been cut off from its greatest defender (you). Searching down through the sewers under the castle you find a smaller crystal, a 'reverberation' created by the sheer power of the Guardian's spell. The crystal allows you to travel to other worlds under the Guardian's control in order to free the castle from the spell. - The video - This is a very special run for me, why? Because this is my all-time favorite game! I basically wanted to make a "tribute" to it, and I think this is very appropriate. It may be old but that doesn't mean it isn't fun! I optimized my strategy so that I only visit every world the absolute minimum number of times possible. Final time is 52 minutes 41.2 seconds ...

Final Fantasy 7 Ultima Weapon

omg. It's deathgaze from FF 6 all over again as I have to chase this dumbass, that has no sense of direction, all over the world. He starts most of the encounters with ultima beam which is easy to fix with a nice Curaga. Other than that prepare for earth elemental defense. Once he gets to cosmo canyon get all of your e skills on a single person and get that single person to attack. That way that person finishes off Ultima weapon and you can learn shadow flare. This is your only real chance to get it. Sephiroth does cast shadow flare but it's not going to be any good to you at that point because you're already going to be in the final battle. As for analyzing his flying behavior I don't think anyone will know. I haven't the faintest clue as to when he'll decide to go for a town or just bug the hell out of you by simply just flying around and not going anywhere in particular. It's irritating sometimes he'll go straight for a town if I ram him enough and sometimes he'll go for a town if I just let him fly for like...6 minutes? Argh... Next I'll show how to get Omnislash. It's going to be multiple videos of cloud and two other party members gathering battle points. But I need to explore that secret forest and set up a few things before i start making those videos. and I'm getting a little tired...sigh...

Ultima Exodus walkthrough (pt 1: create 4 characters)

This is a narrated video walkthrough of the NES game Ultima Exodus. It is split into 20 segments and spans roughly 2 3/4 hours. I first recorded the video then added the narration on top of it and even after the narration, I've made a few more discoveries of tips and tricks, explained as needed in this description. The first part involves creating a save file and four characters along with the intro to the game.

Final Fantasy VIII - Ultima Weapon

Note: This is not a challenge fight, it is a display fight. That is why I don't cast Meltdown. Rinoa and Quistis are only in the party because they're the only LV100s I have at this point. Ultima Weapon is the optional boss at the bottom of the Deep Sea Research Center, which is the same place you faught Bahamut at. This is the kind of boss you can't just waltz in and expect to win. But first things first, LOWER THE BATTLE SPEED. It's in the Config options menu. Trust me, if everyone is LV100, Ultima Weapon is LV100. If Ultima Weapon is LV100, he has 255 speed stat (that's what I'm pretty sure I read), which is max stat. That means that no matter what he'll either be as fast as you, or faster. Unless you spent HOURS and HOURS maxing speed stat for your 3 characters (aka not me), then he's faster than you. If you don't turn down the battle speed he has potential to get 2 or 3 turns in before you get one in. You'll see why this is a death wish below. Anyway, Utlima Weapon has big attacks. He has a physical attack, Meteor, Quake, Gravija, and Light Pillar. I think it may have Utlima too, but he didn't use it against me. Light Pillar does 9999 damage no matter what (unless of course you have cheap invincible items). You can Defend it too, but you'd have to predict who it'll hit and time it just right, not worth the effort. So because Utlima Weapon likes to use Light Pillar, that means don't bother casting Protect and Shell. The best strategy if you're just looking to win is ...
Ultima Underworld 2 - Gameplay

Ultima 8 Walkthrough Part 1

Hi all, This is my first video and my first walkthrough (wish me luck ;) ). I desided that I should start with some Ultima 8 walkthroughs, even if the game is old, it gives you some nice memories and its still fun to play. So I show you some nice places were to get some nice stuff hidden in the Ultima style. I hope you like my video and enjoy it, it is one of the Ultima classics, and for me one of the bests. But thats my opinion. This is Olo's Production, more walkthroughs coming if you ask... Songs: Intro: Stones, Ultima IX Credits: Papa Roach, Last Resort Game: Ultima VIII Pagan, part of the Ultima series made by Origin System, everything in the game is theirs, nothing mine, now Origin is part of EA, so I don't wanna mess with them if you get my point... Enjoy! NOTE: If you find my narration too loud, because I was talking very near to the microfone (sorry I realized that later while I was editing) just lower the sound, I didn't mean to sound annoying though I think I did.

Ultima VII: The Black Gate [PC - Opening/Gameplay]

Ultima is a series of fantasy computer role-playing games from Origin Systems, created by Richard Garriott, aka Lord British. The first Ultima, in its 9-part saga, was released in 1980. The seventh part was released in 1992, and often it's considered to be the best RPG ever created, due to the great storyline, huge and lively world, and the general "do-what-you-want" attitude. It was such a success, that an add-on (The Forge of Virtue) and the second part (Serpent Isle) and the add-on to the second part (Silver Seed) were released in 1993. As GameSpot stated "(Ultima VII) was the most masterfully executed of the Ultima series." Ultima VII is still popular, even today, thanks to the Exult, a recreation of Ultima VII engine, which allows to play U7 on modern machines such as PC, Mac and PSP. Aside from the description, the Ultima saga is my most favourite series of games. It's really a shame, that it went downhill after VII, and ended on IX.
