General Information Locations Station 1 Station 1 is located at 146 Hill St. (At the corner of South Forge and Hill St.) in the Physical Facilities Operation Center, just north of EJ Thomas. Station 1 is the home of Dispatch and UAPD Administrative Offices. Station 2 Station 2 is located at 122 S. College Street. Station 2 is the home of the patrol division and the detective bureau. It is located just north of Simmons Hall at the corner of College and South Forge Streets. Station 3 Station 3 is located on the third floor of the Polskys Building at 225 S. Main St. Station 3 is an administrative office that is also a meeting place for persons to file reports or drop off lost and found items. Station 3 is not manned on a regular basis. Station 4 Station 4 (CHOP Office) is located in Gallucci Hall on the first floor. (Just inside the residence doors on the left. )

www.freescale.com - During a Challenge X event in May 2008, Freescale catches up with the University of Akron to find out the challenges an Ultra Capacitor pack poses for a hybrid electric vehicle control system. University of Akron explains that the Ultra Capacitor control system uses a Mototron processing unit with a 32-bit Freescale processor to manage the health of the pack, as well as advise the rest of the system. The University of Akron further explains that their system uses three simple relays that connect and disconnect the pack from the rest of the system so it doesn't affect the rest of the system if there is a problem.

This is a video of our group, Mark Bielech, Matt Corban and Don Willoughby, demonstrating our trixbox open-source private branch exchange (PBX) system was fully operational and that all the project objectives were completed for the Current Topics: Computer Information Systems (CIS) capstone course at the University of Akron under the instruction of Professor Debra Keller. "Ohio's Pride": The University of Akron Zips Marching Band performing Malaga, the finale to their Stan Kenton Tribute Show, at Kent State's Homecoming and the Battle of the Wagon Wheel October 9, 2010. Filmed by my dad, as I was on the field performing. UAMB performed all of the Stan Kenton Tribute Show at the Akron Bands of America Regional competition as the exhibition/host band the very next week, as well as the Zips first home game and the OCMEA band contest hosted by The University of Akron School of Music.

The University of Akron 's1st Annual Jock Jams competition. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. This was to raise money for KIDS (Kids In Distressed Situations) and aid Haiti and Chile relief. It was a fun event, they raised over $750 and all the teams were funny and great! However, the swim team pulled away with a 1 point victory.
