Tom Waits - Time

Tom Waits-Time, from the 1985 album 'Rain Dogs'. Backing video taken from a live performance on the 1988 film 'Big Time'. Lyrics: Well the smart money's on Harlow and the moon is in the street And the shadow boys are breaking all the laws And you're east of East Saint Louis and the wind is making speeches And the rain sounds like a round of applause And Napoleon is weeping in a carnival saloon His invisible fiancee's in the mirror And the band is going home, it's raining hammers, it's raining nails And it's true there's nothing left for him down here And it's time time time, and it's time time time And it's time time time that you love And it's time time time And they all pretend they're orphans and their memory's like a train You can see it getting smaller as it pulls away And the things you can't remember tell the things you can't forget That history puts a saint in every dream Well she said she'd stick around until the bandages came off But these mama's boys just don't know when to quit And Mathilda asks the sailors "Are those dreams or are those prayers?" So close your eyes, son, and this won't hurt a bit Oh it's time time time, and it's time time time And it's time time time that you love And it's time time time Well things are pretty lousy for a calendar girl The boys just dive right off the cars and splash into the street And when they're on a roll she pulls a razor from her boot And a thousand pigeons fall around her feet So put a candle in the window and a kiss ...

Shturcite - Rok V Minalo Vreme (Rock In Past Tense)

"Rok V Minalo Vreme" zasneto po vreme na poslednia koncert ot turneto "30 Godini Shturcite" na 20.10.1998 The Crickets is the most popular and loved rock band in Bulgaria. They are together since 1967 - the days when in this country rock music was branded as an instrument of ideological diversion imposing pernicious influence on the youth. Still with the name of the band start the problems for the four musicians with representatives of the political regime in these days. The reason is the close meaning with the name of the Liverpool's band Beatles. Nevertheless despite all obstacles and bans thanks to the fans love and their talent, The Crickets manage to establish themselves as the biggest Bulgarian group for all times. Even in 1967 at Golden Orpheus International Festival The crickets together with the singer Georgi Minchev win fist prize with the song "White silence" -- the same song is announced Song of the year. In the next year 1968 their first album shows up, but the song "Ring" is number one hit in the year chart of Bulgarian National radio. 1969 is the year of their second album and their song "A song for the crickets" that becomes a favorite hit of the young people for the next couple of years. The band makes lots of concerts throughout Bulgaria and abroad -- USSR, Czechoslovakia, Poland and GDR. During the 70's The Crickets record four more albums, one of them in Germany where the songs "Remote bay" and "Give me little tenderness" leads the local charts. In ...

Time of Violence Vreme Razdelno II 01/15

Based on eyewitness written accounts. In the 17th century, a Bulgarian Christian region is selected by the Ottoman rulers to serve as an example of conversion to Islam. A Janissary who was kidnapped from the village as a boy now serving the Ottoman sultan is sent to force the reluctant inhabitants to convert. The Bulgarian christians have to chose between physical annihilation and losing their spiritual identity. Ultimately torture, violence, and rebellion break out. Based on real events and the novel "Time of Parting" (Vreme Razdelno) by Anton Donchev. The novel is based on two individual eyewitness written accounts - by the priest Aligorko and the Venetian. The resulting text is a translation of the original French and Old Bulgarian (Old Church Slavonic) texts. All names, characters and events appear in the original manuscripts.

Nije nam vreme - Aleksandra Kovac
