Defense was a huge feature of the Wallabies play, as they took a leaf out of the All Blacks book and upped the intensity as both sides smashed into each other, causing some massive collisions. What it showed is that while they've always been a tremendously talented side, these Wallabies have what it takes in the physical stakes too. I visited a nature reserve along the Yarra River in Melbourne's Inner East not long ago and was amazed to see a couple of Swamp Wallabies! There weren't any serious fences to keep them in or anything and they certainly weren't tame. I've been to parks further upstream and seen information signs saying that wallabies can occasionally be seen, or are "occasional visitors". But to see some so close to Melbourne's CBD was a huge surprise... we Aussies are incredibly lucky when it comes to wildlife!
