Intro made by YouTube member dembonez19. *** This is a very fun mission. This is a "hidden" mission that is accessible from either the "Passing the Swim Test" or "The Secret Undersea Cavern" missions. It doesn't matter which one you go to, because you can reach the intended mission in either one. There's a treasure chest that you can open with a Koopa shell on the main planet. Inside is a Launch Star, which will take Mario to a distant planet with lots of waterfalls. Also, Cataquacks are running around here as well. Mario actually needs one to follow him to a ? Coin, and upon grabbing it, the Ice Flower appears! When Mario grabs the Ice Flower, he obviously changes into Ice Mario. He can throw ice balls that can freeze enemies, and he can also walk on water because ice platforms form under him. What you need Mario to do is quickly go over to the waterfalls, and use wall jumps to go up to the higher platforms. Once Mario gets to the highest point, there's an icy area surrounding a lake. Again, what Mario needs to do is lead a Cataquack to the star. To do this, grab the Ice Flower, then walk across the lake, leading the Cataquack to the tiny platform with the Power Star. Have it throw Mario upward to grab it. Next up is Ghostly Galaxy!

Beach Bowl Galaxy - Mission 6 Wall Jumping Up Waterfalls This is a secret mission--like every mission assigned as #6 or #7. In this case, you get this Star by accessing the third mission. Ordinarily you're supposed to get the Shell to break the brittle wall, but if you take the shell and open the trasure chest, you're taken to a different area of the Beach Bowl Galaxy. A neat trick that a friend of mine told me about, but couldn't quite master. I didn't see any videos on this, so I wanted to create an instructional video that was easy to follow. As my first video ever, I will show you how to do a Mega Man X style vertical wall jump so you can have more time to get that perfect high-damage pounce. This video was also a test to get audio from microphone input to record alongside game audio...other than the low volume output, looks like it was a success! So in case you noticed that my speech sounds unrehearsed, it's because it was all done on-the-fly. 1) With your back facing the wall, crouch while looking straight up and backing into the wall (holding 's'). 2) Make the first pounce while holding 's' in and mashing in left-click. Before you hit the apex of the jump, slowly bring your aim down. 3) Once you make a second pounce, leave your aim there and continue pouncing. 4) Get a 25-damage pounce on a hapless survivor. *Note that unfortunately this doesn't appear to work when on fire. I wish I knew who to credit this to, but, alas, I don't. Anyway, thanks to whoever found this out as well as anyone who actually learns something from this video. Music is from the title screen and Armored Armadillo stage from Mega Man X...I figured they would be fitting for such a maneuver =)

Flip-Out Galaxy - Mission 1 Wicked Wall Jumps The Flip-Swap Galaxy near the beginning of the game has a mean bigger brother near the end of the game--in World S, the area of challenge galaxies. Again, there are red and blue pieces that will flip and exchange places with each other when spun, but instead of panels in a flat area, they are irregularly shaped blocks that go in and out of a wall. That may not seem like much--until you account for the fact that most of these blocks are vertical and wall-like in shape and that you're working much of the time with flooring that's either nonexistent or supposed only by these blocks. If you haven't mastered the wall jumps, you have no business being in this galaxy. It throws having the two walls of different colors for you to wall kick up and only builds from there. Anyway it's been awhile since I uploaded a video so I came up with this idea and made a compilation. It's short and self explanatory. The second Lucario clip is me pretty much holding the control stick right (Towards the wall again) while tapping jump. It's nothing special but I decided to include it and as far as I know the last time I tested it with other characters Lucario was the only one who could do this. Also apparently you can use ZSS' Down B special move to wall jump unfortunatly (for me at least) it's rather tricky and I couldn't make it all the way up. Since I was in such awe at this guys performace at Daytona I thought I would take the time and upload a few of my favourite moments from his race at Daytona in the 2011 season.
