Amazing waterspout 'tornado' caught on camera off Australia
Dramatic footage filmed from a helicopter by Australia's Channel 7 shows a series of powerful waterspouts near the coastal suburb of Terrigal, on Australia's New South Wales coast. Several powerful columns of swirling air could be seen blasting along the water's surface near the coastline. Channel 7 claimed the spouts reached heights of up to 600 metres (nearly two thousand feet), but dissipated as they neared land. The natural wonders came as strong winds and heavy rain also lashed other parts of the state, causing flash flooding and traffic chaos in Sydney. Two days ago we saw a water spout just outside our house in "Limfjorden", Denmark. just as we were watching the sea, i saw a "tap" hanging down from the sky. i said to myself it could not be a Water spout, but as it cought my interest, suddenly a saw water getting splashed op from the sea in a whirlwind over 10 meters from the sea surface. i qouclky found my camera and went outside to record. Enjoy. (water spouts are rare in Denmark, and this one was very close to us, which is very rare!)

Water Spout (Tornado)
This is a video I took of a water spout that came out of the clouds while I was on a sailboat in Florida. I was spending the week on the boat with some guys from my Boy Scout Troop as a part of our High Adventure to the Florida Sea Base. We were sailing along when the storm came up and me and my friend thought we saw a funnel cloud behind us. Turns out we were right. This video shows it up close and shows it coming all the way down and dying away. The music is "Float On" by Modest Mouse.

Incredible water spout (tornado over water) recorded from the balcony of our cruise ship on Oct. 17 on-route from Cayman Islands to Tampa, FL. Starts to break up towards the end of filming. So rare it was the first time our ship captain had seen one. Amazing... and windy! Wish the quality was better, but I was too busy taking pictures.

Another activity we found through Groupon Honolulu was a "Sunset Catamaran Sail". When we showed up, the weather was not what we, or the other individuals had hoped for with massive, dark clouds surrounding the harbor, strong gusts of wind, and a peak of sunlight towards the direction we were headed. After some discussion with the group, it was decided we'd give it a shot and headed out of the harbor. On our way out, we saw what appeared to be a whole in the sky, over Diamond Head, where you could not even see the outline due to very heavy rainfall. Shortly after, we exited the harbor, going out towards sea in search of clear skys, and someone yelled "OMG a Waterspout!!". The video will tell you the rest of the story, other than us getting completely drenched head to toe, and the Coast Guard ordering us to head back to port. I had to cut it short due to heavy rain and the potential for damaging the camera.
