found this video on my old PC of a Mustang(?) with what I'm assuming is a Weiand 174 Supercharger. I have searched for similar videos on here before without luck so I thought I'd post it for anyone else looking. This is not my car. Blower Whine KAG When i bought it last year it had a nasty little naturally aspirated 331 that was a nitrous engine but it was wore out and ran only on 112+ octane fuel. So I had my friend build and tune this new engine. It was built new from the oil pan to the blower scoop. We havent dynoed it yet but are hoping for around 550-600 horse power. The Weiand 174 blower is 144% over driven, that explains the nasty surge it has at idle. Well sorry it to so long to get this vid up, but these projects provide lots of problems and time consuming details that you dont think about when you dive into it in the beginning. Ive spent 3 times the time i thought i would take and probably 2 1/2 the money. So enjoy. If you have any ? email me and i will try to get to you asap. Kyle

This is my beast!! She has a 496 stroker motor thats pushing just shy of 700 HP on pump gas and 5.5 lbs of boost! She is for sale! And boy is she a blast to drive!! This is a very streetable car, Thats what she was built for!

My 72 Pro street Camaro w/ BBC topped w/ 8-71 Weiand supercharger
I'll try and list as many details about the car as I can. Let's start with the motor: It's a balanced & blueprinted .030 over 454 that was just built at the end of this summer. The block was o-ringed and uses .062" copper head gaskets. It has a fresh forged steel crank, new bearings, resized Eagle I-beam rods, Ross 8.8:1 blower pistons, (Compression Ratio is about 8.5:1 with the .062" head gaskets) it has new Total Seal rings, a new Howards solid roller cam (.702 Lift, 308/314 Duration) new Howards solid roller lifters, and new Howards double valve springs. It has the large GM oval port heads (3964290) that were just ported & polished. The exhaust ports were also D-shaped for maximum flow. It has Manley stainless steel valves, bronze valve guides and new valve seals. It has Crane Gold 1.7 aluminum roller rockers and Manley guide plates. It has a new Cloyes double roller timing chain, a new 7qt oil pan, a new windage tray and crank scraper, new high volume oil pump & pickup. It has a custom "one-off" oval port intake manifold that was also ported to match the heads. It has a Weiand 8-71 Polished Blower, and two fresh rebuilt Holley 750 double pumpers. It has an MSD Pro-billet distributor, MSD 7-AL box with a Stage-2 module (Rev-limiter). It has a Moroso high volume water pump, an Afco Racing aluminum radiator w/dual 12" electric fans, 1-7/8" Dynomax headers leading to 3" exhaust with 40 series Flowmasters. It has a built 2sp Powerglide with a shift kit and a 3000 stall <b>...</b>
