Wells Fargo Bank VP fired for squatting and partying in forclosed homes with her crew
The fourth-largest US bank said in a statement on Monday that it had terminated one employee, senior vice president Cheronda Guyton, who it found had violated its policies. "We deeply regret the activities that have taken place as they do not reflect the conduct we expect of our team members," the bank said in the statement. Wells Fargo, which received $25 billion in government bailout money last October, was criticized earlier this year for planning events at upscale Las Vegas hotels for top mortgage employees. It said in February that it did not plan any more of these "recognition events" this year. It said at the time that such events were part of its culture, and that it believes in rewarding hard-working team members.

Police escorted the group outside, where about 50 union members, students and community activists were staging a demonstration.SEIU Local 284, which co-sponsored the protest, represents school and child care workers. Shortly thereafter, my mortgage was assigned to a bank... Wells Fargo. Shortly thereafter, Wells Fargo notified me that they would be increasing my mortgage payments. And, though it was difficult, I managed to maintain the payments. Then, in, 2006, I received a letter from Wells Fargo stating that there were delinquent payments... I knew this was a mistake and had the receipts to prove it. Nevertheless, in December 2006, I received a Notice of Default (NOD). More than 100 workers rallied at the Wells Fargo in Minneapolis calling on the bank to stop funding job killing politicians and use some of the federal bailout funds to aid Minnesota job seekers. Between Political Action Committee contributions and employee contributions, Wells Fargo has given more than $5 million to politicians, including at least $8700 to Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, $12250 to Congressman John Kline, and $28000 to Congressman Erik Paulsen. All of them Republicans. More than $10000 of donations to Paulsen came directly from the Wells Fargo PAC, with additional money as a personal contribution from Wells Fargo CEO Jon Campbell. The protesters watched as actors with large masks representing Bachmann, Paulson, Kline and Campbell consumed cream pies without giving any to the watching workers.
