Droid Bionic Review Everyone knows that the Droid Bionic was long overdue by the time it landed in September, though the $300 contract price sent some people running to the hills regardless. Meanwhile, others found this Moto handset's dual-core 1 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, 4.3-inch qHD display and 4G/LTE support impossible to resist. So is this top-of-the-line Android phone worth the hype? Well, long story short, it has tremendous call quality and signal (at least where I am), great battery life and snappy performance. So I'm impressed with this handset — so much that I'll even say that I could use this as my daily driver (and I have, for about the last three weeks). Moving from your current ROM to CyanogenMod 7 is pretty easy. While I'm using a Nexus One (also called HTC Passion), these general steps should work for most Android-based devices. Prerequisites! First you will need a custom recovery image on your phone, such as ClockworkMod or AmonRa. I use AmonRa, which is documented and available from here: forum.xda-developers.com Next you will need the ZIP files of CyanogenMod 7 and Google Apps for your device somewhere on your phone's SD card, available here: www.cyanogenmod.com Before flashing any file, you should verify its MD5 signature against the one provided to make sure you're not flashing a corrupt file. These are some of my general observations and comments after using the Samsung Galaxy S I-9100 for 3 months as my daily driver. This is the best Android phone available today, as well as the most Powerful cell phone that humans have ever produced in history. My quick summary after 90 days - it is not perfect, but the performance and power and screen are amazing. If you can in any way get this phone, you should Get it!

The successor to the Samsung Galaxy S2, the new handset sports a massive 4.8-inch screen, a quad-core processor and a wide range of other interesting features on board. As the new top-tier Android phone on the block, the S3 is set to go head to head with the likes of the HTC One X, the Sony Xperia S but has it got what it takes to grab the Android crown, and can it turn iPhone 4S fans over to Google's OS?

When I previously visited Android, I was very inexperienced and I tested a very powerful mobile operating system on some low end hardware. Not the greatest thing in my career as a journalist. I was offered by Samsung and Clove to take a look at two Android devices, the Samsung Galaxy Mini running Android 2.2 while Clove Technology offered me the new Motorola DEFY plus to take a look at. The first device to arrive was the Galaxy Mini, right after the unboxing I turned the device on and I instantly knew the jump from 2.1 eclair to 2.2 equaled to a better experience, if 2.1 to 2.2 was good, I was eager to get my paws into Android 2.3 code named Gingerbread, tasty! Gingerbread has totally changed my opinion after just a day of usage, man do I owe Android an apology. Android hasn't always done it for me as I mention in the video but things change. I love Android, It's impressing me so much that I don't want to give the DEFY Plus back. I will definitely purchase myself an Android device as soon as I can afford one.
