A small video (chalk full of spoilers), took me a few minutes. The song is "How do you feel" by Zeus. Yes, I did download the movie illegally, But I've seen it in theaters, and will definitely be buying the dvd. And when I get the DVD, I'll be doing a polished version with shiny non bootlegged video! This music video is dedicated to Wikus Van De Merwe whom risked his life to help an alien to escape from District 9 while turning into something against his will. The song 'Never Surrender' by Skilled was chosen by lyrics which express what Wikus was experiencing during his final days of his human form. I hope you all enjoy this long awaited project as much as i did making it. I plan to be making more videos at a faster rate through the summer.

Hi, everyone and you watched or watching the video tutorial or saying speed painting. I am sorry about my English, but I will try as much as I can to talk little bit about was I'm doing. I started with the sketch and put the main line, as you can see. From the beginning looks very incorrect, but you need sketch continue as long as it have correct lines. 2:20 - It's pretty messy in the beginning, but you can really understand what I'm trying to do. 2:33 - Next I put the main color how are a shadow color. In this way, I put light tones. I started very incorrect, only later I will work on details. Of course if it is a portrait, for me it is easier to start with face and the rest of that what is around. You must be patient because, in several cases may be different colors or shades, the proportion have to correct in work all the time. In the first part I will not make any effects I simply draw, putting color, light and shadow. I am working on one leyar is very challenging and interesting because years ago I worked around, 50 leyars and it was wild and messy. In three years, I very often change the drawing style. It's sometime may be hard to really find the style you like. It may be that you will not find for some time, but you need to experiment with everything that you can thing of. Study some of your favorite artist and try to do the same putting some of your own style. Your style will come, show automatically and it will be that thing that will separate you from the other <b>...</b>

Just a free-hand drawing. I really wanted to draw Sharlto, because he amazed me in District 9. This is only my first drawing of him, im planning more. maybe on video. The photos at the end are highlighting the details i took into consideration...Like the band-aid on his finger from when his nail fell off...The missing claw from when he cut it off, even with the blood on the wrappings...you cant see it but i gave him the alien eye as well, i might color that in later...and the '9' on the canister looking thing on his gun, its in the Non-Human writing...I also am trying a new style of shading, not shading everything, just on the creases, it kinda looks ok :) ***Sharlto HIMSELF acutally saw these drawings!!! Heard this song on a new album and instantly fell in love with it :D Since it's my first District 9 video, I was just experimenting with this movie, and i know the end was kinda fast and i skipped quite some stuff, but it was too lazy to re-edit half of the vid when i reached the end. so sorry bout that. And i was concentrating on mainly Wikus this first time. Hopefully i'll make another District 9 video and will edit it in more variable ways. Awesome song by Dark Tranquillity. Hi Boys and Gurls ! Here you are a video about my favourite fucking military badass !! With the music "Time of Dying" sung by the musical group : Three Days Grace So... I just love the character of Koobus... even if he is a very hateable personality... Concerning the story of the video, it is focused about Koobus, who doesn't want to die, and thinks that he won't... he purchased Wikus Van De Merwe, because he has to do it, it's his job, and because he totally likes bringing him pain... 'cause hi direspects this poor employee of MNU... Why ? Reason is simple. David James ( The actor who portrayed Koobus) explain this hatred of Wikus by describing the colonel as an English decent, which would give him an air of superiority over the Wikus van de Merwe character, who was portrayed as being Afrikaaner... And the reason why he is keen on killing prawns is a racial reason too... Prawns are just unimportant to him, little toys to have some fun... They are less strong, less smart than humans... they're juste fucking shrimp aliens which parasite the Earth... Ironically, he gets killed by these beings which he saw as weaker than him... Finally, Koobus is ruthless, racist, short temper and very kiddish... But he has a sense of honor... this is shown in the last sequence of the video, when he shouts : "Run fucking coward", by speaking to Wikus, who is very heavily armed, but prefers to flee instead of fighting...
