It was recorded in 1951 for Distant Drums, but found it's infamy when sound magician Ben Burtt snuck it into the films he was working on, especially Star Wars and Indiana Jones. This video is a (pretty) complete collection of the films that The Wilhelm Scream has been in. Note: There are different takes of the Wilhelm Scream from the original recording. Finnskogen ("Forest of the Finns") is an area of Norway situated in the county of Hedmark, named so because of immigration of Finnish people in the 17th century, the so-called Skogfinner/"Forest Finns". The core area of Finnskogen lies in the eastern part of a small region known as Solør, on the border with Sweden. It consists of a forested belt of land, about 32 km (20 miles) wide. It is adjacent to the Swedish region with similar Finnish immigration, named Finnskogarna. There are also similar forested areas in other parts of eastern Norway, Brandval, Vinger Finnskog of Kongsvinger (Austmarka), Søre Osen, Finnemarka near the city of Drammen and in Nordmarka just outside Oslo. Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 17 in D minor, Opus 31 No. 2 Kempff was born (1895 in Jüterbog, Brandenburg, Germany) in a family of distinguished church musicians. His father was his first teacher. He entered the Hochschule für Musik Berlin at age nine (deeply impressing the directors with his playing, improvisation and compositions) did furthur study in Potsdam, and finished up in Berlin 1916 also studying philosopy and music history. His first appearance as a soloist was with the Berlin Phil Orch in 1918, Beethovens G major piano concerto under Arthur Nikisch.....Scandinavian tours continued after the war, culminating in a award bestowed on him by King Gustav of Sweden. He was music director of Musikhochschule Stuttgart 1924-1929, and married piano pupil Helene Freiin Hiller in 1926. In 1927 took his first trip to Turkey and met with president Atatürk offering advice on appointments to Ankara college of music. Then taught at Potsdam 1931-1941 with Edwin Fischer and Walter Gieseking. Premiere of his second opera "family Gozzi" in 1934 to good notices. He composed many works for orchestra, piano, organ, chamber ensembles and songs. She is the worst maratime disaster in the history of the world, with more fatalities then the Titanic and the Lusitania combined. Her name is the Wilhelm Gustloff. On January 30 1945, the Gustloff was filled to the bursting point with 10000 German refugees fleeing the advancing Red Army. In the dead of night the Soviet Submarine S-13 slammed three torpedoes into the Gustloff's side sending her to the bottom of the Baltic, and taking 9500 passeners and crew, over half of them children and infants to their graves. Before I get 10000 hate messages about how this isn't politically correct let me just say this: though the Gustloff was a Nazi ship with a prominant Nazi's name those who were lost on that horrible night WERE NOT Nazis but homeless refugees trying to get to safety. To the world the fact the victims were German seems enough to condemn an unforgivable act to obscurity. My only intent with this video is to honor the 9500 victims of the Gustloff disaster. Wilhelm Friedemann Bach (22 November 1710 1 July 1784), the second child and eldest son of Johann Sebastian Bach and Maria Barbara Bach, was a German composer and performer. Despite acknowledged genius as an organist, improviser and composer, his income and employment finally became unstable and he died in poverty. This suite has sometimes been attributed to Friedemanns father, Johann Sebastian Bach as BWV 1070, but was in fact MOST certainly composed by Friedemann. The Kammerorchester 'Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach' plays under Hartmut Haenchen.

I met Jim Wilhelm in 2007 as I was recording my debut cd project, Give Me Words. I was researching Heaven in preparation for recording my original song composition: Unimagined Glory, A Journey Through Heaven. Pastor Lloyd Stoops of Happy Trails Christian Fellowship in Surprise, AZ mentioned that he knew someone who had died briefly, went to Heaven, then was resuscitated and came back to earth. This was exactly what I was praying for, so I contacted Jim!! We became good friends, & I eventually produced his audio testimony and helped him post it online. Jim's testimony can now be heard on several websites for free download as a tool for evangelism. Many people have responded to Jim's testimony, & have come to Christ!! Jim passed away on December 16th, 2010. In fact, I attended his memorial service today, Jan 16th 2011. I am sad for my loss, but know he is EXACTLY where he wants to be. What a blessing it must have been to transition back to Heaven after already being there!! He knew where he was going, that's for sure! I pray that this testimony lives on for many years, & that many more people will learn to perceive Heaven as a real place. But the Bible talks about two places.... A Heaven and a hell. It's so very important to recognize that this life is short, & our ultimate life decision is in whether we accept Christ, or reject Him. The consequential results are a Heaven too glorious for words, or a hell too evil, pain ridden and hopeless to imagine.

What it is: A gameplay video of Spear of Destiny Level 10 and the second boss battle of thegame. Done in a single run, from a pistol start, and on Death Incarnate difficulty. Game was invoked with -hard -tedlevel 9 parameters for this. How was it done: Emulated and recorded with DOSBox 0.70, the resulting AVI file with the ZMBV codec was decompressed using Virtual Dub 1.7.1 and later recompressed again with Windows Movie Maker in WMV format with a 512 KBits Bitrate. Additional Info: Miracously defeated Barnacle Wilhelm with no ammo left. I wasn't believing that I finished the level anyways.
