Sweet's origins go back to 1965, with UK soul band "Wainwright's Gentlemen", which included drummer Mick Tucker and vocalist Ian Gillan. The group were limited to small UK clubs playing a mixture of R&B and psychedelia. Gillan quit in May 1965 to join Episode Six, and, later, Deep Purple. Gillan's eventual replacement was vocalist Brian Connolly. Tucker and Connolly remained with Wainwright's Gentlemen until early 1968. In January 1968, Brian Connolly and Mick Tucker left Wainwright's Gentlemen to form another band, calling themselves The Sweetshop. They recruited a bass guitarist/lead vocalist named Steve Priest from a local band called 'The <b>...</b>

Vintage Willys Jeep CJ3B Military Vehicle
I thought you would like a look at this Willys Jeep CJ3B that has all the correct Military markings. It's an older restoration, but it's looking as though it just came out of service. The four wheel drive system was gone through and upgraded in 1995 and it has bee well taken care of since. It still has the original inline four cylinder under the hood backed by a manual transmission. It really looks like a fun little vehicle for the money. 1961 Willys Jeep FC-150 FOR SALE - 32000 Original Miles!
This is a 1961 Willys-Jeep FC-150 Pickup for sale. Original 78 horsepower four cylinder engine, three speed manual transmission, 5.13 geared Dana 44 axles front and rear. High and low range four-wheel-drive. This is a rust-free 32000 original mile California desert truck that has less than 500 miles on a body-off-frame restoration. These trucks were built on the CJ-5 platform and featured a cab-forward body and a small pickup bed. Only 1298 1961 FC-150's were ever built and there are only a handful left in this condition. Beautiful Mountain Green Poly and Palm Beach Ivory two-tone with beige interior. Very reliable and can be driven anywhere. Top speed of about 55 MPH but will pull a house down the road. These trucks were rare when they were new and now nearly fifty years later, there are very, very few left, especially in the condition this truck is in. '46 Willys Jeep In The Creek!
Ah : ) the willys. This thing is the coolest ever. I got it for 500 bucks. The last time it ran was in 1973 when the engine blew up. But it came with another engine off of a Millitary generator :) My whole life this CJ-2A was sitting right across the road from the field, at the farm, in a shed. :) i used to look at it when i was a kid, and think about how cool it was. never though i would have it. So anyway, Drew and I put the other engine in it, and over a few days i got it running. the beast was amazing :) Drew took it romping with adam the one day, and got it stuck in a big thing of water. the clutch was under water, and he left it there overnight. So for about 2 or 3 years now, the clutch is rusted together. right now the willys is taken part of the way apart, in the canopy, and hopefully soon this thing will be fixed. because its an amazing machine. I have a few more videos of this beast that i will be uploading. Including a night time, Illegal, (no insurance, Not registered, no plate, not inspected in over 30 years, no brakes, gas tank from a tractor under the hood laying on the distributor cap, clutch stuck together, and an almost dead battery) that was a fun night :) it was late though. there were no other cars on the road. using the synchronizers to shift :) ah, fun stuff. i almost killed us :)
