Media Center in Windows 7 is already great, but along with the My Movies plug-in, watching all your movies from a HTPC (Home Theater PC) is a very enjoyable experience. I have ripped my entire personal DVD and Blu-Ray disc collection directly to my HTPC, and use My Movies to browse and watch the movies. Everything can be controlled from a Media Center Remote, and My Movies integrates very well into Windows Media Center. There is no lag in the program, but there may appear to be in this video. Watch TV on Your Computer --------------------------------------------------------------------- From Windows Media Center, use the down arrow on the keyboard until you come to TV and press Enter. Next, press Enter twice. From here, you will be able to view channels and options. For instance, there are full episodes you can watch from various TV shows. You may select a television series. For example, if you selected The Guild, you could use the arrow keys to navigate through episodes. To go back to the previous menu, just hit Back on the keyboard. There won't be full episodes of every show, but there will be clips and highlights with the option to watch the full episodes on regular television. You could elect to search for items relevant to "this week in" and a number of current topics will pop up. You can then narrow your search to "this week in video games" and view accordingly. You can return to the main menu by hitting the back button while your video is still playing. This way you could watch a video while searching other options.
