This was a really good run, the last piece came out perfectly. Since I couldn't do the breakout in the same spot Sadistic Mystic did in his video, I had to find another way to get the first piece fast, then I opted for the torch breakout, because it's fast and it's just a straight line between me and the first piece, altough is a little tough to get it. Back when I taped my 1:28 run, I felt it could be improved after I uploaded it to youtube, but it took me almost 3 entire days to get that run done, so I was really tired of Green Forest :/ After seeing the TASes of DennisBalow and his brother ReneBalow, and the awesome videos of my very good friend Son1cGu1tar, I felt that it was time to get back and finish once and for all my Green Forest speed runs. After a lot of failed attempts, mostly because Sonic simply "fly" off the floor in this stage, and that's the cause of many people(Paragod as an example) don't like to speed run this stage, I could get everything right in a check less run :D I opted for mission 4 because I was tired of seeing the same thing again and again, and having no checks in the stage changed even if only a little bit, the looking of some parts, and of course without checks, every time I died I started from the beginning of the stage, meaning no checks in my run, even if I wanted them sometimes(mostly because of frustration) :P The main reason for almost 3 seconds being cut off are the better execution of some parts of the run, mostly in the ending, where I could save a lot of time compared to my previous run. That 2 spindashes at the beginning saved no time, I just did them instead of a light dash and a single spindash 'cause I think it's cool to see ;P I hope you enjoy this run, 'cause I have almost no time to play Sonic now(although I play SSBM too much with my friends). I liked this run, it's not perfect(not even close if you ask me) but at least it's more optimized than my 1:24 from DC(a lot more), I'd say that this run should be something like 1:20 or maybe sub 1:20 on DC due to the invisible floor, which saves at least 8 seconds comparing with the GC route. Its been almost a full year when i started to play mbp =) the times i played only mbg i only beated the game once and left it for 2 years in my pc to take space so basically i started playing marble blast a year ago. This took me about 1100 tries to get because of teh annoying edge hits and sill shots and time starting again. There was only 0.01seconds spare time before time starting again LOL

This route is the same as the old one, the big difference is on the part where I clip through the door and glide to the chao room, instead of just flying I keep breaking the glide animation with drill claws, doing this I keep knuckles from losing height thus making me able reach the water at a higher spot, and with this I spent less time on the water. The new execution of that part isn't the only thing that gave me this time, a frame by frame comparison with the old WR video shows that both the beginning and the ending of this run, where the strategy is the same as the old ones, are faster than son1cgu1tar's. I'm very satisfied with this =D Also this run beats the current TAS WR by 0.28 seconds. My first TSC World Record that isn't tied! I hope SadisticMystic doesn't try and take this back! Anyways this is a lot trickier than it appears. You have to get into the statue quickly and then you have to escape from the wall out of bounds and not lose so much altitude that you can't access the room with the chao in it. Only about 1 in 10 times did I make it to the chao room after breaking out of bounds.
