2004 WRX Sti with over 12K in mods. Tuned by Top Speed of Atlanta GA, dyno run @ 454 HP and 457 TQ. Mods include 850cc injectors, Hi Flow Fuel Pump, Perrin FMIC, methanol injection, Garrett Tubo (26psi), Perrin boost controler, full tubo back exahust (catless), uppipe, downpipe, cold air intake, Perrin blow off valve Cobb Access Port piggyback ECU and track tuned suspension. This is my third WRX, I purchased this car with the mods and tune done. I know there is more but this is all I know. The car ran an 11.2 QM and reaches 60 mph in aprox 3.2 seconds. My 65 year old uncle who has raced cars his whole life and owns multiple 600+ HP cars one of which is a wheelies Kit car with a blown 454 producing 650 WHP took a ride in this Subie and said after the ride that it was the fastest car he had ever driven. I am sure he has had a few 10 second cars or even high 9 sec. He said it was the fastest car he had driven but I doubt it. I would say that it is the fastest 0-100 he had ever driven. Old dudes have no idea what horse power can do in combination with AWD. He was blown away. I just got the car last month and have already raced a new Z06 Vette from a 2nd gear roll and pulled 5 links on him to 145 MPH.

FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE 2010 SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI SPEC C: www.edmunds.com If the number of letters in its name is at all proportionate with its level of improvements, the 2010 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Spec C should be quite the hatchback. Spotted for the first time lapping the Nürburgring recently, this super STI has a number of upgrades designed to sharpen the performance of the standard model. According to sources in Japan, this STI's ride height has been lowered by 0.5 inch and fitted with stiffer dampers and springs. The lightweight 18-inch wheels are wrapped in Bridgestone run-flat tires, while the brakes have been upgraded with the six-piston calipers from the Subaru Legacy STi S402. Finally, the engineers in Subaru City have tweaked the turbocharger and exhaust system of the turbocharged 2.0-liter boxer engine to generate beefier torque at lower revs and lift power from 300 horsepower to around 320 hp. Gear ratios have also been revised, with 1st through 4th gears positioned closer together while 5th and 6th gear have been made taller to enhance top-end speed, as the Spec C is expected to clear 165 mph. With the performance hardware of the Spec C out of the way, the design team turned to aerodynamics in order to add a little free horsepower. One source close to the project tells us that in addition to giving the Spec C a fully flat underbody, the Subaru engineers have also fitted a lightweight aluminum rear diffuser that helps generate twice as much downforce at <b>...</b>

And in Fast & Furious, the most obvious product placement is Subaru's WRX STI. The Subie got its role in F&F when the picture car coordinator went looking for a new, high-performance, rally-type car for FBI agent Brian O'Connor (super-dreamy Paul Walker) to drive near the film's climax. Basically it was a choice between the Mitsubishi Evo X and the WRX STI, and Subaru was the first one to say it would supply cars. So Subaru it was. Subaru gave a total of seven brand-new WRX STI models to the production in exchange for prominent placement in the film. But just because they were zero-mile cars doesn't mean that they were treated with any respect by the picture car department. After all, what matters in movie-making is getting the movie made, not making sure any Subaru survives unscratched. So all the Subies had their interiors stripped, all were fitted with straightforward tuner-style modifications from Perrin, Cobb Tuning and Veilside, and then they were sent out to work on the set. Of the seven, one was cut up into an engine-less filming buck and five were destroyed during filming. The remaining car is in a warehouse awaiting another shot at fame.

While driving at Franciacorta racetrack i played with a modified Subaru Impreza WRX Sti. I was also very surprised to keep up with such a fast car with my modified Abarth.
