Ten Years ago the tragedy happened. I still can't believe it. For everybody it supposed to be a normal day. A day like all the others... but it never was... :( I can't understand -and never will- how people can be THIS evil. And what I can't stand is, that people are killing innocent people in the word of God. They are using their religion to kill. It's not right and not fair. This video was originally created as a simple PowerPoint presentation. The assembly of the videos and photographs began within days of the attacks and it made its first public appearance at a church service marking the one-year anniversary of the attacks. It immediately won approval and praise despite how "rough" the first showing was. Over the next five years some images were changed and a video clip was swapped out as the presentation was requested over and over again in public venues. Only recently did the proper technology become readily available to create a quality DV/DVD output of the program that did not have to be personally presented by its creators to properly display. This video is available on DVD for a nominal fee to cover production and mailing costs.

In 2011, Indonesians who were too young to fully understand the terrorist attacks of 9/11 in New York and Washington DC when they happened share what they remember and think about the tragedy. Literally half a world away from the United States, these young Indonesians obtained their knowledge of 9/11 from secondary, if not third-hand sources, which are often misleading. Despite these difficulties, they remain optimistic in moving on from the tragedy, in facing its legacies, and struggling towards a brighter, more tolerant future. Production Notes: ============== This video clip was produced in July 2011 by Search for Common Ground's office in Jakarta, Indonesia. The production team recorded over 3 hours of material and edited it to create a 7-minute video clip.
