After an excellent day of surf at Supertubes, local favourite and 2009 winner Ryan Payne emerged victorious at the Xcel Pro Showdown At Supertubes 2010. Ryan was seeded into the second round of the event as a result of last years win, and charged all the way through to the final where he came up against Remi Peterson, and went to town on the perfect walls and barrels as only Supers can provide. Goofy-foot Remi put up a good fight on his backhand but it was Ryan who showed his skills to take his second victory in a row from the younger Peterson. Ryan scored a few good barrels on the set waves, and pulled off a massive grab-rail cutback that had the crowds assembled on the walkway cheering in support. Thanks very much to Xcel Wetsuits and to everyone involved in this contest, said Ryan on the beach afterwards with his first prize trophy in hand. Its definitely the best event I have ever surfed in, and it will be for the rest of my life. Ryan went on to dedicate the victory to his grandfather. For the win Ryan took home R5000 cash, a R5000 Nixon watch and a R5000 Xcel Wetsuit, as well as InFood vouchers and Von Zipper sunglasses.

Xcel energy is upgrading with a significantly lower emission power plant. A 550 foot high smoke stack weighing (unconfirmed 5770 tons) built 36 years ago part of St. Paul's cityscape was brought down today. I had checked a few locations to shoot this photographically with the help of others, taking into consideration the excursion zone which police would close off to the public and block traffic. I choose Cliff road as the closest spot that would be open to public, but, I guess, some were just below me I saw on the train tracks. Cliff road runs parallel overlooking Shepard road just below which was closed off for good reason. I had a few reservations if it was wide being so close to such a massive structure being brought down with high explosives, it passed 2 seconds latter. NOTE - This montage features 100% GB/Scrim footage. All gameplay is recorded in a competitive setting against other teams playing to win or improve. These clips were not recorded in ranked matches where kills are easy to come by, they were recorded in competitive settings where the focus is to WIN, not to get flashy blindfires or unnecessary Torque Bow headshots. This isn't your average GoW2 montage. There is minimal sniper gameplay, there are no Torque bow headshots (past the intro), there are no "new" GoW weapons, and there isn't a wide variety of maps. What this montage IS is a montage recorded in competitive settings where players work as a true team to win matches. Because of this, these montage clips may not be what you're "used" to seeing. You will see boomshot kills, scoped in sniper shots, and meleeing. You will see how a player who makes use of ALL of what he has available to him will play like. That being said, there is some very, very good gameplay at points, and much of the gameplay was recorded BEFORE the game had its major patches applied and back when competitive play used Hammerbursts (Which is why you'll see maps like Stasis and Ruins occasionally). You'll see clips where Xcel comes out of a roadie run and instantly shoots/melees because it's how the game worked at the time, which produced a ton of sick clips on his end (Especially the first clip). The only qualm I had with the gameplay was how there were very few Professional players killed in the video <b>...</b>

What i like about 4n is the short time to get to operating temps and you can use less KOH/Ga. to get your amps. I used 1 tblspoon of KOH/GA. temps were around 100F after 20 min run time. These cells will handle heat pretty good most get to about 140F ater about 5hours of run time at this amperage and can be air cooled to run at 120F. Production should increase as cells are conditioned on this cell, to well over 2.5 lpm.

The Hi-Spec XCEL 1250 spreader has been used extensively on Irish and UK farms since 2004. As the XCEL 1250 uses chain flails to break up the manure it has a much greater ability to handle foreign objects in the manure (eg stones, cement blocks, fencing stakes, etc.) without any damage to the machine compared to competitor's vertical auger spreading systems. The spreading width of the machine is in excess of 16 metres with most materials and thanks to its unique spreading system, the XCEL can discharge manure evenly across the full working width. The large tyres, which come as standard, practically eliminate any compaction and rutting of the surface.

Xcel-16 Showing new bolt through design to connector power plates using only two wires. Bolt is 1/4" Solid brass with brass nuts. Each bolt connects two power plates of my dry call on either side. Unlike SS bolts, brass conducts currernt efficiently so the bolts dont heat up like SS would. Since the bolts are not submeresed in the electrolyte there is no longer a need for them to be SS. I was told these can handle upto 140A without heating up. I ran them at 30A and they were bone cold. Key is that you MUST keep all the nuts VERY tight or these can also heat up
