As the Patent Wars rage on, turning manufacturers against one another, Azrienoch proposes yet another solution. Please read about SetCPU thoroughly before attempting to change clock speeds and set profiles. Do not use Root Explorer to delete files unless you're absolutely sure that you know what you're doing, and if you aren't 100% sure, seek help first. When using ROM manager, it will ask you to flash Clockwork Mod Recovery. DO NOT DO SO FROM ROM MANAGER. Use XDA-Developers forums, and find your devices specific forum, and find out how to install clockwork from there. Edify is not playing nice with everyone.
