Yoshi, the Yoshi sound effects and the music in this video belong to Nintendo. I love Yoshi so much that I could just squeeze him. And do some other things. Most of the sound effects used for Yoshi in this video are from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. A few Mario Kart 64 and Super Mario World ones were also used. Then there are other generic sound effects I used from iMovie or random places on the internet. The poor little Yoshi we used barely survived some of these. Including the pan fry one which turned into a small problem off screen. But anyway, it was fun making this. Just cheesy dumb fun that let creativity ensue. Enjoy Yoshi getting rocked! There's 30 melons in every stage. (and a whole bunch of other fruit that don't matter to me) Basically, I grab all the melons as fast as I can. I plan on doing this to most/all of the levels, but page 6 was hard for me when I was a kid...In terms of finding the melons, anyways. I wonder how far I'll go with this before I forget about it... About 16secs into the video, I accidentally push L and don't even notice. The L button turns off/on the frame that displays all the fruit you have eaten so far. Sorry about that! Oh, and the color of the Yoshi doesn't really matter/affect whether I grab the melons or not. I just wanted to pick Red Yoshi. ^.^

This level was kinda hard. I kinda regret not grabbing my third Heart Fruit seeing as how I got hit by the Yellow Shy Guy. I figured I could've just bounced off of him but I guess I didn't hit him from a good enough angle... Last part of this stage is boring, which is why you see me bob Yoshi's head around so much. Since I'm standing still on a cloud, I might as well, right? :P Oh yeah, and before I forget. My emulator is being really retarded at the moment, so somehow it keeps deleting my data. The only way I can get it to save is to kill myself as I get far in the game, which means page 6 will have to be done in Story Mode. This won't make too much of a difference, though - just that I have to fight Baby Bowser then. He takes like, a minute to beat, but I'm probably not going to waste my time recording it for every level on that page.

After Tom's first sight-read, you hear Julia mention another Nintendo videogame tune that she liked. That was KK Ragtime. A short time later, Tom and Julia played it from memory! I'll have to post the video of that moment at a later date. It was fully evolved into a fleshed-out rag arrangement, much like the second run through this tune from Super Mario World 2 in this video. This tune was composed by Koji Kondo (近藤浩治). It is also known as "Hop! Hop!
