Zero G with Boeing B727-200 at USA

Besides Russia, it is also possible to perform Zero-G flights (parabolic-flights) inside of the USA. Onboard of a Boeing B-727-200 you will also feel no gravity, and also during the flight the Moon gravity (1/6 G) and Mars gravity (1/3). Zero G Boiling

The next time you're watching a pot of water boil, perhaps for coffee or a cup of soup, pause for a moment and consider: what would this look like in space? Would the turbulent bubbles rise or fall? And how big would they be? Would the liquid stay in the pan at all? Until a few years ago, nobody knew. Indeed, physicists have trouble understanding the complex behavior of boiling fluids here on Earth. Perhaps boiling in space would prove even more baffling.... It's an important question because boiling happens not only in coffee pots, but also in power plants and spacecraft cooling systems. Engineers need to know how boiling works. From NASA

Spiders in Space - Flies experiencing zero-G

Here is a collection of clips where flies are trying to cope with weightlessness. Nearly all of these flies (especially toward the end of the video) have spent their entire existence in SPACE! They were conceived, layed as an egg, hatched, pupated, and emerged as a fully developed fly while orbiting the Earth on the ISS!Spiders in Space is a K-12 educational experiment that examines the behavioral and physical changes of golden orb weaving spiders in space. The experiment was launched aboard Space Shuttle Endeavour on May 16, 2011 and transferred to the International Space Station on May 19, 2011. Overseen by the Baylor College of Medicine Center for Educational Outreach in conjunction with BioServe Space Technologies, students from all over the country are conducting analog experiments in their classrooms to determine how the spiders are adapting to their microgravity environment. Support comes from NASA and the National Space Biomedical Research Institute (NSBRI). More information can be found at www.bioedonline.org

NASA Water Balloons in Zero G (High Quality)

I know this is available from others on YouTube, but my videos are higher quality since I got them directly from the person who shot the footage. I worked at NASA Glenn (NASA Lewis at the time) for a co-op in 1996 (97? can't remember for sure). One of my co-workers, Jim Simms, shot this video on the "vomit comet" and gave me a copy on VHS.

OUT NOW: itunes.apple.com For more information: mail@submergedmusic.com / www.twitter.com/dubpolice ZERO G DP047 A. BRING IT AA. BRING IT (SUBSCAPE REMIX) Following releases on some of the biggest labels in the game, including Liondub, XS Dubz and Digital Soundboy, we are very proud to present the Dub Police debut from Zero G. A no holds barred dancefloor bomb, 'Bring It' will hit you right where it counts. Using the pared down elements with maximum efficacy, the growling bassline riff rips right through the core of the track like a knife. The thumping kicks and the snap of the cavernous snares heightens the impact, while the tight percussive shuffle maintains the momentum, wrapping itself around the bassline. On the flip, 'Bring It' gets the remix treatment from long time Dub Police affiliate Subscape. Taking the original's infectious bassline and ramping up the energy levels on it even further, he delivers a hard-hitting sonic onslaught. Having risen to the top in the drum and bass world with his uncompromising production style, Zero G has proven his versatility with a series of impressive dubstep releases in recent years, taking down the tempo while retaining all the energy. Maintaining the same impactful approach that garnered him so much attention with his drum and bass productions, he has quickly become one of the biggest dubstep producers in the scene today. Collaborations with the likes of Benny Page and Marcus Visionary, as well as an array of solo releases, have ...
Zero-G Spiritoso: Live Cello Phrases Sample Library for Native Instruments Kontakt

Performed by Ian Bracken, a world-class cellist from the Liverpool Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and recorded in Liverpool´s famous Parr Street studios, Spiritoso: Live Cello Phrases is a 17Gb collection of thousands of live recorded phrases, rhythms, chords and arpeggios all compressed down to 8Gb of material using Kontakt 4´s new lossless compression technology. The fifty-seven Kontakt 4 instruments allow patterns to automatically sync to the tempo of your projects and a wide variety of chord, rhythm and scale types can be selected using key-switches. The dynamic level pp to ff can be smoothly crossfaded by mod wheel, the ensemble size can be zoomed from solo to 12 players, and two mic positions (close and room) can be chosen or blended. All of this adds up to incredible sonic control. A great tool in itself, Spiritoso also works incredibly well blended with other premium orchestral sample libraries as a way of introducing a new layer of realism into your scores. Spiritoso is exclusively available to download from Time+Space. DVD also available. Follow this link for more information - www.timespace.com

Drinking Water in Zero-G [HD]

How to Drink Water in ZeroG Due to its unusually large surface tension, water will tend to form relatively large spheres in a microgravity environment when expelled from a container. In this case, the water droplet size was largely determined by the size of the water bottle opening. Even though the droplets are put into motion and are spinning, they more or less stay together in one contiguous sphere (until eaten of course). This footage was filmed with GoPro's HD Hero, which provided an ideal wide angle view of the research airplane in these close quarters. Dr. Don Pettit performed many more science outreach experiments with water during his space station stay: /watch?v=bgC-ocnTTto en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org

Blast Off With Norton Zero G Flight 02 21 09

This is a series of short clips edited together that depict some of my experiences on the Zero-Gravity flight. The still photos at the end were taken by Robert Holland. The Zero-Gravity sequences are a bit chaotic. This is because they are chaotic but also because it's difficult to hold the camera in such a way as to capture video and control where your body is flying. The coaches encourage participants not to take photos and instead focus on the experience. They have several photographers on board with roving cameras and several fixed cameras that you can see in the video. Indeed did just that for the first 8 parabolas and then was comfortable enough to shoot a little video. We experienced a total of 15 parabolas. 1 at Martian gravity, 2 at Lunar gravity, and 12 at 0 gravity. At least one or two of the 12 was negative G as evidenced by bodies gathering on the ceiling. During the video you'll hear one of the coaches yelling warnings. They're hard to make out, but one is "On The Pull" which means lie flat at focus on a single point on the ceiling. This is the 1.8G section of the Parabola. She'll then yell "Pushing over Zero-9" Which means "time to fly". Finally "feet down! coming out" means gravity is about to return, get your feet under you as fast as you can. Each Zero-gravity section is approximately 30 seconds long, which is enough time to do some tricks, eat some M&M's out of mid air, see water float and get an occasional foot to the face. :) In the video: Arriving at ...
