Der Einsatz für die Bonner Feuerwehr begann gegen 15:30 Uhr. Durch die Gewaltigen Wassermassen des Unwetters wurden kleine Bäche in Bonn-Mehlem überflutet. Dort stand teilweise das Wasser bis zu einem Meter hoch in den Straßen. Zahlreiche Keller liefen voll. Personen mussten von der Feuerwehr aus Ihren Häusern gerettet werden. Am Rheinufer ist ein Abwasserkanal abgerissen und hat Erdreich mit sich gezogen. Durch den Grundbruch war nicht auszuschließen, das auch Häuser einstürzen könnten. Es waren ca. 200 Einsatzkräfte im Bonner Stadtgebiet im Einsatz. Personen wurden nicht verletzt.

The Warsaw Ghetto Rebellion - April 19 - May 16, 1943 Sung by Paul Robeson at the 1949 Moscow Concert (live) in Yiddish and historical pictures of the burning of the Ghetto by the Germans. This famous song was sung by Robeson as part of his legendary Moscow Concert of June 13, 1949.which Paul Robeson gave while on his tour in the Soviet Union, at the time under the Stalin oppressive dictatorship.
